Medaterranean Gulls

On saturday called at holbeck for the med gulls ended up with images of 2nd winter and two adults one nearly full breeding plumage

Dippers

Had a nice walk down the river Dove on sunday came across some dippers nest building so grabbed a few shots did not hang around long has i don,t want to disturb them

Gannets

Decided to go to Bempton has conditions were perfect these were the best images of the day

Sunny Weekend with waxwings and ducks

Finaly got some nice light on my weekend off decided to go for the waxwings as usual there is always a mistle thrush around .I heard about a Pintail that was showing well .After a stroll round attenbrough i came across a very nice Red Crested Pochard

Hartlepool

Had a trip to Hartlepool for a days birding wasn,t much happening so we decided to scramble over the very slippery rocks when we came across these Purple Sandpipers light wasn,t very good so i shot at 800 iso . I was quite sattisfied with the end result

After a bad start i managed a bit of macro this was my favourite

the fulmar was from nortumberland, had a day at the coast hoping to get some waders but could only find turnstones
